FORMA Design was commissioned to redesign the interior of Theodore’s, an 11,000 SF furniture showroom in Washington, DC. A neutral background was created with the use of simple forms and light materials that unify the space. The theme for the space is established in the front window, where metal clad walls become a backdrop for furniture display and enhance the street presence of the store. Sheer drapes are used to subdivide and separate display areas, but also evoke a residential feeling. The exterior signage and banners extend the full width of the store to signal the passerby.
